The World Wide Web has become another presentation and exploitation platform for films, and not just through streaming services. What is lucrative about making films for the Internet? And to what extent do the production and distribution conditions differ from those for the big screen?
Women are still underrepresented in the film industry, both in front of and behind the camera. Why this is so, how it might be changed, and whether new formats also mean new and more opportunities for women – these are the questions that the “Provincial Film Days 2021” will explore.
The final spurt to the Audience Award: The audience votes from the six program blocks of the European Short Film Competition have been counted. Now the top-rated films will compete against each other once again and all previous votes will be reset to zero. So every vote counts in this best-of!
